The US Senate is poised to take up S 3304. S. 3304 is the sister bill to H.R. 3101. Both bills are called the "Twenty-first Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act."
Advocacy works! The U.S. Senate improved S. 3304 and "hotlined" S. 3304 to be passed by unanimous consent this week. In addition to the support of the original co-sponsors -- Senators Pryor (D-AR), Kerry (D-MA), Dorgan (D-ND), and Conrad (D-ND) -- S. 3304 is also supported by Senators Hutchison (R-TX), Ensign (R-NV), and Schumer (D-NY).
