Classroom Acoustics

We received word today about action taken by the Access Board July 28, 2010:

The policy board of the US Access Board voted unanimously in support of rulemaking to reference the new ANSI/ASA S12.60-2009/2010 in the ADA and ABA Accessibility Guidelines. Board staff will develop scoping provisions in ADA/ABA-AG style (what the standards applies to and when) and will begin immediately to work on the regulatory assessment (cost/benefit analysis) required to support the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) that will be the next public step towards an enforceable rule.
